About Us

We are a retired professional couple from Canada who never tire of traveling and exploring the world. Sandra was a professor of modern languages and Paul enjoyed a successful sales career in Canada. We fell in love with this part of Provence while Sandra was studying in Aix-en-Provence and later writing a dissertation on the author Henri Bosco, whose life and work is intimately linked to this part of the Luberon. We bought La Jassine in 1989 as a vacation home and rental property so that we could continually return to this very special area. Our three sons now live in Australia, Switzerland, and the United States, but they still return to La Jassine as often as possible. Our second son and his wife, who now live in Sydney, celebrated their marriage at the Château of Lourmarin and had the brunch for their guests at La Jassine. We love to share this very special place with our guests and hope that it will provide them with some of their most cherished holiday memories. We look forward to welcoming you at La Jassine!
